Water Rate Adjustment Effective March 1, 2026

Water rates will be adjusted effective March 1, 2026. Low-income assistance programs are available.

The Riverton Borough Council has approved a water rate adjustment effective March 1, 2026. This is the first rate adjustment in four years and is necessary to maintain and improve our water infrastructure.

New rates:

  • Base charge: $18.50/month (previously $15.00)
  • Usage rate: $4.25 per 1,000 gallons (previously $3.75)

The average residential customer will see an increase of approximately $8-10 per month. Low-income assistance programs are available for qualifying residents.
